however, I'm seeing something I don't like and I'm hoping I can configure things
to 'fix' it.</FONT></DIV>

<DIV><FONT size=2>I configured a loopback address on the router and I'm using
that as the IP helper address on the remote router. The phone gets everything it
needs, but when I look at the network settings, the DHCP address listed is the
interface of the router through which the response came through, not the
loopback address. </FONT></DIV>

<DIV><FONT size=2>I would have thought since the request was sent to the
loopback address, that the loopback address would reply, apparrently
not.</FONT></DIV>

<DIV><FONT size=2>Does anyone know if you can configure a 'source interface' for
DHCP?</FONT></DIV>
