Todd,<br><br>This is the only way to do this in CCM 4.x however in 5.x you can setup a Busy Lamp Field/Speed Dial that will act as a speed dial but also show phone status.<br><br>When you do it in 4 there is going to be one minor annoying thing. THat is that any call that is missed from her boss she will also see in her missed call log. Same with VM.

Our receptionist has a 7940. She HATES that she can't see if the boss is on the phone or not.<br>Can I just make his extension be her second line and then she would see if he was on the phone or not?<br>Could I assign NO RING to that line, so she wouldn't be disturbed by rings and such not??
