<br><font size=2 face="sans-serif">I just got off the phone with Verizon
and the tech was giving me some stories that could explain your problem.
He says that once the calls get across the pond they sometimes are
sent to different international carriers. Some switches will pass
it fine while others not. That could explain your hit or miss scenario.
Anyway this is pretty aggravating.</font>

help anyway since I was only really seeing a LEC<br>
disconnect but you could see that the plan and type<br>
would switch to "Plan:ISDN, Type:International" for<br>
international calls. The LEC was Time Warner here in<br>
Raleigh NC and the TW switch tech was saying basically<br>
the same thing. Either drop the 011 and send it as<br>
international or send it as national and keep the 011.<br>
Like I said I could not get it to work dropping the<br>
011 and sending it as international so I had to change<br>
it to national and send the 011 which worked.<br>
ALso another weird thing was it was only happening on<br>
certain international calls, some would go through<br>
fine others would get dropped with no really good ISDN<br>
cause code other then far end rejected or something to<br>
that affect.<br>
