Hi Daniel,

We also use TSM as our primary backup solution. To my knowledge this is not supported directly on Unity. What we do is schedule DiRT to backup Unity to a network share on a server that is backed up nightly with TSM. With the on-box exchange you'd probably want to include the voice messages in your backup, though you'd need to take into consideration that it will increase the size of your backup significantly. We have exchange on a separate system so it hasn't been a concern for us.

Hello,

I'm trying to find what the community is using to
backup their Unity servers. I am running Unity 4.0.5 right now with local
Exchange Server.

We use IBM Tivoli Storage Manager (TSM) for the corporate
servers and need to know if this is a viable option to use for Cisco Unity.

Also, on Unity Express, is there a way to schedule backups?
It seems that I can only do a manual backup.

Thanks.
