the DMA output it lists log files you need to retrive. collect those,
zip them up, and attach to your TAC case.<BR><BR>what dma does:<BR>1. if cm
ver < 5.0 or < 4.2, then export windows database<BR>2. import win
database to ccm_w database in windows install of informix with
fkconstraints. error on any constraint failures<BR>3. migrate ccm_w
informix database to ccm database in informix in new cm6.x
schema.<BR><BR>Errors can occur at both steps 2 and 3.

what the DMA actually does during the validation process? It looks like i'm
being able to take a backup of all the information, but the validation is
what fails when i'm trying to run this utility......it errors out with some
Database errors......i'm guessing it's creating a temp database and using
the schema it would use in 5.x and inserting the information into it as a
'test'? Do any of you have any information on the actual process this takes?
I've been messing with this for about 2 weeks now and can't seem to
successfully complete the DMA process.....except for this time i'm stuck and
don't know how to fix it......</FONT></DIV>
