are powering up, then I would check the power status on the display. I
have not seen this between different switches, but maybe it is marginal on the
power (where the other models work fine). Do you have a different switch
you can try it with? In the switch, check what power is actually being put
out to the phone. I assume you checked the cabling. It should power
up and get to the screen to look for registration (at least), without seeing a
load from CM (assuming that it didn't attempt to load a code that is a
problem). HTH,</SPAN></FONT></DIV>

<P class=MsoNormal>Hi,<o:p></o:p></P>
<P class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></P>
<P class=MsoNormal>I just received 5 new 7941G-GE which are gigabit IP
Phones. I am using CM 4.1(3)sr2. When I connect them to my 3560-PoE
switch they power on, but there is no display on the screens. I haven’t
tried to connect them to a gigabit switch yet, since I am going to upgrade later
this year. Only the speaker button is lit and after about 8 seconds the
extension lights flash briefly. This happens on all 5 phones I have tried
to connect. I currently have 7941 phones and they work without any
issues. I have worked with Cisco and they cannot seem to find any
issues. I was guessing it was a firmware issue, but I cannot go through
the phone settings due to no screen to see what version of firmware or what TFTP
server it is looking for. The firmware that is in my Device Defaults is
“SCCP41.8-3-3S” which is the same for 7941, 7961 and 7961G-GE models. If
anyone knows how to solve this it would be greatly appreciated.<o:p></o:p></P>
