technically after restore the publisher you are *supposed* to reinstall
subscribers. Take a look at CSCsg77360 in bug toolkit.<br>

That said, since you can force it to work without reinstall by
correcting:<br>
db connection entries in processconfig table in SQL<br>
db connection entries in the registry<br>
using dblhelper to reconfigure SQL replication<br>
DCD repair steps to reconfigure DCDirectory (LDAP) replication<br>

just switch of my publisher restore the BARS to the backup publisher
