For defects that are already fixed linking a new case keeps the defect
on the hot list longer and raises awareness. For defects that are not
fixed each additional linked case raises visibility within Cisco. I am
constantly amazed by the number of defects with only 1 or 2 TAC cases
linked. It is extremely difficult to prioritize 200 defects each with
1 case attached (randomize?). Defects with numerous customer cases
attached clarify priority.<br>
