<pre wrap="">This is not normal behaviour. You should have
auto-reg-ephone in your configuration. This is default
behaviour and I don't see it in your configuration so
it makes me think this is either a bug or you just
need to enter 'no auto-reg-ephone' and then
'auto-reg-ephone' so you can add the phone via the
GUI.

Hi Jack,
so this is a normal behavior and not a bug?
Is it about to be fixed? Have you heard anything?
Thanks
Anthony

Subject: [cisco-voip] Cannot add phone in CUCME 4.2
throughweb gui
Hi, i have a 2801 ISR running 124-11.XW2 andhaving
theappropriate gui files for CUCME 4.2(0).
I had auto assign enabled 1 to 5 and max ephones 9.
After i ran the wizard, 5 ephones were created but i
assigned dn toonly 3 ofthem.
Now, i want to add some more through the web gui but i
can't!!
I always get "no new phone to add!" and the ie
annoyingbeep!!!
I have enabled auto-reg-ephone but yet nothing
happens: i still can'tadd a newphone.
Any ideas?
Thanks a lot
Anthony
