I'd urge you to go with the ASA. CUPP won't receive any

fine and
does what it does very well (I'm biased), but there is no
roadmap for
that product, it is end of life, and therefore you'll find

created CUPP when we were Metreos, back then called
the Metreos SCCP
Proxy, and released CUPP once we were acquired by
Cisco. I love the
product, primarily because it's a joy to work on and
and I think we
were rather clever in how we built it :), so I am quite
biased on this

PhoneProxy, a product that I am NOT involved in (different
Cisco

Have I got that right
then?

So the ASA proxy-ing is actually TLS proxying which needs UCM
5.x or
greater. Whereas the CUPP does some other sort of proxying and
so
is compatible with versions lower than 5. I've been waiting
to
decide whether to buy a CUPP or wait for the ASA functionality
but
seeing as though I'm running 4.1.3 that could be my decision made
for
me...
