unified messaging so our exchange server is</span> <span style='font-size:10.0pt;

style='font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"'>Running Cisco Unity
4.2</span><o:p></o:p></p>
<p><span style='font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"'>Through some
complaints from a user and some testing, I have realized that</span> <span
style='font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"'>email</span> <span
style='font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"'>message receipts such
as a delivery receipt, read receipt, or undeliverable receipt are showing up in
when you call into your voicemail. </span><o:p></o:p></p>
<p><span style='font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"'>I tested by
generating an email to a bogus user. </span> <span style='font-size:10.0pt;
font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"'>In my email,</span> <span style='font-size:
10.0pt;font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"'>I</span> <span style='font-size:10.0pt;
font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"'>received</span> <span style='font-size:10.0pt;
font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"'>the system generated email that my message
could not be delivered to one or more recipients.</span> <o:p></o:p></p>
<p><span style='font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"'>I called
into my voicemail from my phone, and sure enough, the same system generated
message was there as an audible message</span> <span style='font-size:10.0pt;
font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"'>“A</span> <span style='font-size:10.0pt;
font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"'>receipt</span> <span style='font-size:10.0pt;
font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"'>– your message to one or more recipients sent
today, at 11:18am could not be delivered.”</span><o:p></o:p></p>
<p><span style='font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"'>As long as
the user keeps the receipt messages in their INBOX, they are going to be on the
voicemail when they call their phone. </span> <o:p></o:p></p>
<p><span style='font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"'>Why is this
happening? Is there some way to make it stop? The user that found
it was just a little freaked out because they did not know what was causing
it. </span><o:p></o:p></p>
