<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>We've had a request to recommend a PC/Telephone
headset switch for a user who would like to use a speech rec app on their pc
without having to switch headsets. After some research I found the following are
available. If anyone has any comments on these or others that I have not found I
would really appreciate it.</FONT></DIV>

looks neat and is the only USB interface to the PC I've found. Others are
analog, i.e. 1/8" jacks. MSRP is under $100. A switch cuts over the audio/speech
path from one or the other.</FONT></DIV>

This looks like a custom solution from headsetsdirect.com although I've
seen the same solution rebranded at other websites. Perhaps they are OEMing for
people. MSRP is under $100. A switch cuts over the audio/speech path from one or
the other.</FONT></DIV>

This one is interesting, it's goal was to provide the ability to use the headset
for your PC recording and the switch it has allows you to go from headset to
speakers, but the the audio path is always sent to the PC as well. It might not
work well in the speech rec part since you might actually say "computer off"
during your conversation. Or have someone talking to you say it. ;) MSRP is
under $100.</FONT></DIV>
