I didn't say it wouldn't work, i'm just telling you what they've told me in the past. We had a similar issue to the one below and called Valcom support to resolve and they said that they couldn't/wouldn't assist as they didn't sell anything that works with a Cisco FXO support. I also agree that I may have gotten a "schlep rock" support guy that had no clue what he was talking about. Having said that, I have been told by Valcom support personnel more than once that they have a callmanager system in their lab, so I would assume they know what FXO and FXS ports are. Of course you know what happens when we assume.

-Go0se

Bill Talley <billt@aos5.com> wrote:
If they tell you that, they don't know what an FXO port is. We have multiple installs using FXO ports. Now if you ask for something to interface with a CO port or trunk port,
they'll hopefully tell you it's supported.

*** Sent from a mobile device with very tiny keys. I've attached a Bogen PCM2000 to an FXO port before and it worked beautifully. This time I'm having a lot more trouble. If anyone has any suggestions or
hints, it'd be much appreciated.

This is a 3845 + VIC2-2FXO running 12.4(9)T4.

This is a CCME box.

Paul

____________________________________________________________________________________
Be a better friend, newshound, and
know-it-all with Yahoo!
