take with a grain of salt, but.. <br>From what I hear they are trying to align version numbers so that they have a "system release" 7, so that CM, Unity, UCCX? maybe some others all have the same version number for each set of releases. So yes skipping Unity 6, and Unity 7 is probably equivalent to a 5.1 as far as new features.<br>
