The highest moment of TFTP usage are usually during Firmware updates. Regular TFTP stuff like Downloading the Phone Config or a Change of ring tone is not bandwidth consuming truly per phone. It is just when you aggregate the X amount of phones that you see a lot of bandwidth consumption in terms related to the TFTP server. So You might see Phones Pulling 2-4 Meg Firmware files and then they just pull rather small files in comparison. Since You should do Firmware upgrades and maintenance out of business hours they should not be that bad in terms of bandwidth consumption on your WAN. Also remember that the bandwidth statement refers to minimum bw allocation during congestion so even if you have a bandwidth 62 statement in the policy if there is more bw, it will use it.
