one aspect to keep in mind - cm registers each CM server in the device
pool of the GK trunk with the GK. those register as _1, _2, _3

the CMs that appear are determined by the device pool (cm group) on the
trunk device in ccmadmin.

Charles,
one more question... ;)
When a callmanager registers its trunk ... under the show gatekeeper
endpoint output... The H323ID has an _X addon. How is this determined?
I believe on the gw_priority command do you have to specify the
destination trunk as in the full H323id, correct?
Now if this is dynamic.. I'd be screwed when specifying/hardcoding the
priority on the GK. I think I am missing a piece to the puzzle here
Cheers

Subject: Re: [cisco-voip] GK controlled ICT question -
CallManager 5.1.x
t,
for the outbound from the cluster, cisco will perform it's
own randomization.
for the inbound to the cluster, you can either manually
configure different priorities for the trunks, or configure
them with same/default value and it will again randomly make
use of them.
if i understand your bw question correctly, yes, it will
account for all the trunks.
