customer bought one 3<sup>rd</sup> party and asked us to set it up and the

font-family:Arial'>The MCS-7816-H3 has a single 160GB SATA drive. I’m a
little confused by this statement “if a drive fails you can schedule
server down time”. The drive did fail and the server is useless so their
down time wasn’t “scheduled”, more like instant. Am I
missing something? How is a single drive a benefit?<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>

array wasn’t setup properly when the drive failed. Yet it has a single
drive…..I think I need to educate them as the 3<sup>rd</sup> party they
bought it from didn’t appear to tell them it has a single drive.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>

server downtime, power down the server, and replace the failed SATA drive by
simply removing it (each drive is equipped with a front latch that positively
mates the drive to the server) and replacing it with an unconfigured spare
