<DIV></DIV>
<DIV>I have setup transcoding at the main site for applications like UCCx that
only support G711 for my WAN phones that are setup for g729. I'm running
CM 6.1 now and I'm having issues with the transcoding resources
unregistering.(kind of a side note).</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>But one of my remote sites use the Main sites VGW for out bound
dialing. But I'm finding that the remote site is using xcoding for ALL out
bound dialing. I do have some voice class codecs set to g711u and g729r
applied to the Dial-peers. I've tried g729br also and still it uses the
xcoding. Why? should the phone / VGW negoiated this rather then the
xcoding resource being used? Am I out to lunch with my
understanding?</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>Thanks</DIV>
