Interesting... I get the same results with 'show dialplan number' but the call is routed.<div>My config:</div><div>!</div><div><div>dial-peer voice 10 pots</div><div> destination-pattern 8.*82T</div><div> port 0/2/0:23</div><div>!</div><div>dial-peer voice 11 pots</div><div> destination-pattern 8T</div><div> port 0/2/0:23</div><div>! </div><div><br></div><div><div>2851#show dialplan number 8*8255555555</div><div>Macro Exp.: 8*8255555555</div><div>No match, result=1</div><div><br></div><div><div>2851#csim start 8*825555555</div><div>csim: called number = 8*825555555, loop count = 1 ping count = 0</div><div><br></div><div>*Dec 10 16:06:43.114: ISDN Se0/2/0:23 Q931: pak_private_number: Invalid type/plan 0x0 0x0 may be overriden; sw-type 13</div><div>*Dec 10 16:06:43.114: ISDN Se0/2/0:23 Q931: Applying typeplan for sw-type 0xD is 0x2 0x1, Called num *825555555</div><div>*Dec 10 16:06:43.118: ISDN Se0/2/0:23 Q931: TX -> SETUP pd = 8 callref = 0x0081 </div><div> Bearer Capability i = 0x8090A2 </div><div> Standard = CCITT </div><div> Transfer Capability = Speech </div><div> Transfer Mode = Circuit </div><div> Transfer Rate = 64 kbit/s </div><div> Channel ID i = 0xA98386 </div><div> Exclusive, Channel 6 </div><div> Called Party Number i = 0xA1, '*825555555' </div><div> Plan:ISDN, Type:National</div><div><br></div><div>In my case even though the 'show dialplan number' command didn't indicate any matches the call would route out the port configured on the dial-peer. I'd say it's time to start doing some debugging to confirm the router is sending the call out to the PSTN. You can use 'debug h225 asn1' to confirm CCM is sending the call to the gateway. Since you are using an analog line you'll have to use something like 'debug vpm sig' or 'debug voip ccapi inout' to look at the pots leg of the call.</div></div></div><div><br></div><div> <p style="margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px"><font face="Helvetica" size="3" style="font: 12.0px Helvetica">-Ryan</font></p> </div><br><div><div>On Dec 10, 2008, at 10:02 AM, David Zhars wrote:</div><br class="Apple-interchange-newline">Here's what I am trying:<br><br>dial-peer voice 14 pots<br> destination-pattern 8T<br> port 0/0/3<br>dial-peer voice 24 pots<br> destination-pattern 8.*82[2-9]<br> port 0/0/3<br><br><div>On Wed, Dec 10, 2008 at 10:00 AM, Ryan Ratliff <span dir="ltr"><<a href="mailto:rratliff@cisco.com">rratliff@cisco.com</a>></span> wrote:</div><div class="gmail_quote"><blockquote class="gmail_quote" style="border-left: 1px solid rgb(204, 204, 204); margin: 0pt 0pt 0pt 0.8ex; padding-left: 1ex;"> <div style=""> Can you send us the dial-peer portion of your config?<div><br><font color="#888888"><div><div style="margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; "><font style="font-family: Helvetica; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; font-size: 12px; line-height: normal; font-size-adjust: none; font-stretch: normal;" face="Helvetica" size="3">-Ryan</font></div> </div></font><div><div></div><div class="Wj3C7c"><br><div><div>On Dec 10, 2008, at 9:58 AM, David Zhars wrote:</div><br>Ryan, here's the response on the 2801:<br><br>Macro Exp.: 8*825551212<br>No match, result=1<br> <br><br>Methinks the asterisk may be sort of a "reserved keyword".
