installation. I haven't replaced a disk on a linux based appliance yet and I'm
just wondering what the procedure is and how I monitor the RAID rebuild.<br>

In the olden days, we use to:</span></p>

<li class="MsoNormal" style="color: black;"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: "Verdana","sans-serif";">remove the disk</span></li>
<li class="MsoNormal" style="color: black;"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: "Verdana","sans-serif";">turn up the server (press F2, F1 to keep the RAID
config in broken mode)</span></li>
<li class="MsoNormal" style="color: black;"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: "Verdana","sans-serif";">insert disk</span></li>
<li class="MsoNormal" style="color: black;"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: "Verdana","sans-serif";">monitor using HP/Compaq utility</span></li>
</ol>

something close to this, since it's still an HP, I'm guessing the F2, F1 sequence
