doesnt Cisco W2K3 OS require Windows activation when installing on vmware? if so, do you know what kinda of license key it is looking for (volume, etc.) ?

I think I tried installing it a while back but the MS activation stopped me. Since then I've gotten my hands on a vmware image that was created via converter off a MCS but if I can install natively that is good.

Subject: [cisco-voip] cucm7 in vmwar (esx)

hi all,

i have installed the nfrs version of cucm7 on vmware esx ( 1 cpu, 2GB
Ram, 40GB HDD // red hat enterprise linux 3 32bit). but it is totaly
unstable. when i log into the webinterface and try to activate services i
get only slow connection and often hppt error 500. i did a change on the
vmware to add second cpu or 4gb ram. but there is no performance !!!
