<div>our old MCS 7835's I used HP drives in. bought a bunch of 15k RPM ones and even when they were mismatched with the Cisco 10k RPM ones, they worked just fine. (whole lot cheaper too)</div>

<div style="FONT-SIZE: 10pt; COLOR: rgb(0,0,0); FONT-FAMILY: Verdana">No one will give you official support, but it's something that many people do. Many people suggest against it because of mismatched BIOS upgrades, but that's easily fixed with manufacturer utilities. (I think).<br>
