<pre>Here are my steps from doing this before:<br><br>When using CoolEdit to save this file out as an 8 bit 8khz ulaw file it sounded AWFUL.<br><br>CoolEdit was able to send it out as 16 bit 8khz PCM that sounded just fine.<br>
<br>Once the 16 bit 8khz file was put through CallManager's AudioTranslator we could still<br>hear the music and the hissing problem was gone.<br><br>I'd recommend all MoH quality problems follow a similar path in the future:<br>
<br>1. Use CoolEdit or some other professional software to fix the audio amplitude and sample<br>rate (moving from 48kHz to 8kHz for example). <br><br>2. Instead of following the steps of saving this file out as the individual 8 bit ulaw<br>
just save the file out as a 16 bit PCM WAV file.<br><br>3. Listen to the file to confirm audio quality is still good.<br><br>4. Upload this file to audio translator.<br><br>If you want an old version of something, I recommend <a href="http://oldversion.com">oldversion.com</a><br>
