<P DIR=LTR><SPAN LANG="en-us"><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial">I have 4.2(3) CCM cluster. We use Unity 4.2</FONT></SPAN><SPAN LANG="en-us"></SPAN><SPAN LANG="en-us"><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial">(1) that is tied to our Exchange 2000 server for unified messaging to our email system. It works fine. </FONT></SPAN></P>

<P DIR=LTR><SPAN LANG="en-us"><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial">Here is my problem. </FONT></SPAN></P>
<P DIR=LTR><SPAN LANG="en-us"><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial">Due to a recent company merger we have a new group of co-workers moving into our building. </FONT></SPAN><SPAN LANG="en-us"></SPAN><SPAN LANG="en-us"> <FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial">Right now, integration plans call for them to remain on their own network and maintain</FONT></SPAN><SPAN LANG="en-us"></SPAN><SPAN LANG="en-us"> <FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial">their</FONT></SPAN><SPAN LANG="en-us"></SPAN><SPAN LANG="en-us"><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial"> own exchange server. All of this will be separate from our network and exchange environment.</FONT></SPAN></P>

<P DIR=LTR><SPAN LANG="en-us"><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial">Via VLANs and various other stuff above my head, we will be running two totally</FONT></SPAN><SPAN LANG="en-us"></SPAN><SPAN LANG="en-us"> <FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial">separate</FONT></SPAN><SPAN LANG="en-us"></SPAN><SPAN LANG="en-us"><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial"> user networks in our environment. </FONT></SPAN></P>
<P DIR=LTR><SPAN LANG="en-us"><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial">Also</FONT></SPAN><SPAN LANG="en-us"></SPAN><SPAN LANG="en-us"> <FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial">with the</FONT></SPAN><SPAN LANG="en-us"></SPAN><SPAN LANG="en-us"><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial"> use of Voice VLANs we are planning to have everyone use the single CCM 4.2(3) cluster.</FONT></SPAN></P>

<P DIR=LTR><SPAN LANG="en-us"><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial">I am struggling with how to give this new group voicemail. </FONT></SPAN></P>
<P DIR=LTR><SPAN LANG="en-us"><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial">They will not be in our exchange environment so I can not set them up like a do my normal users today.</FONT></SPAN><SPAN LANG="en-us"></SPAN><SPAN LANG="en-us"></SPAN></P>
<P DIR=LTR><SPAN LANG="en-us"><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial">One option I have come up with is to create mailboxes on our exchange 2000 system for the solely for the purpose of storing their voicemail messages.</FONT></SPAN><SPAN LANG="en-us"></SPAN><SPAN LANG="en-us"><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial"> This would require additional user licenses on my exchange server as well as my Unity system, but should work. The new users will not have unified messaging but they do not have that today so are not losing anything. The would access their voicemail messages by using the phone only.</FONT></SPAN></P>

<P DIR=LTR><SPAN LANG="en-us"><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial">Can a single Unity system talk to more than one exchange system. The new group is on Exchange 2007. I believe you have to have Unity 5 or higher to talk with Exchange 2007. Will Unity 5+ still talk to Exchange 2000 if we have no immediate plans to upgrade our</FONT></SPAN><SPAN LANG="en-us"></SPAN><SPAN LANG="en-us"> <FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial">exchange 2000 system?</FONT></SPAN></P>
