I just got two PRIs delivered (Telus in Calgary) but am not having any luck getting them going (l2 status doesn't got to MULTIPLE_FRAME_ESTABLISHED). I've followed the T1 troubleshooting flowchart and am at the point where I have to verify the switch type.

My understanding is that I should be using NI2 signaling, but whenever I configure it I get set back to ni.

calglbvoip1(config)#int s0/0/0:23
calglbvoip1(config-if)#shut
calglbvoip1(config-if)#isdn switch-type primary-ni2c

FWIW these PRIs are bundled with NFAS, it doesn't seem to matter whether or not I configure NFAS or as separate PRIs (on the assumption that I could get the primary PRI going and then reconfigure as NFAS after I've made sure which one has the primary D channel)
