This would bump heads with Vmware, Cisco's virtualization partner, and could cause potential squabbles. Also I don't see Cisco moving their applications to Solaris x86 or SPARC after investing so much in Linux. While Sun is a big supporter of Linux, their baby is still Solaris.<br>I work with one of the original ActiveVoice folks and he said that working with Cisco after the purchase for a year was okay until he got a Cisco manager swapped in for his former ActiveVoice boss.<br><br>Is Cisco becoming another inflexible, slow behemoth like Microsloth? One Cisco guy I spoke to casually voiced the worry that Cisco was becoming less of a "fun"

been cultural differences. I recall someone telling me once that when Cisco bought ActiveVoice there were plenty of differences.
