<p class=MsoNormal><span lang=EN-US><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class=MsoNormal>Hi<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class=MsoNormal>We upgraded to CUCM 7.0.1 and then applied device pack
7.0.1.21014-1 and the current dial-plan for AU.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class=MsoNormal>Our 7942 and 7962 phones are now running firmware load SCCP
8-4-1S.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class=MsoNormal>The problem is following this new firmware our SCCP 7942/62
phones do accept "+" characters in the Corporate Directory.
Previously they did.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class=MsoNormal>Our directory is AD synced and the staff all have full E.164
diallable numbers. Communicator 7.0.1.0 and 7925 phones are not affected, so I
know it's nothing wrong with the dial-plan.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class=MsoNormal>Tried firmware 8-4-3ES4S as well as 8-4-4S and they also
would not allow "+" dialling (i.e. didn't fix the problem). <o:p></o:p></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class=MsoNormal>Downgraded to firmware 8-3-4SR1S and this fixed the problem
- but at the cost of re-introducing lines below line text labels. <o:p></o:p></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class=MsoNormal>The TAC engineer said we were getting this bug:<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class=MsoPlainText><a
href="http://tools.cisco.com/Support/BugToolKit/search/getBugDetails.do?method=fetchBugDetails&bugId=CSCsv69814">http://tools.cisco.com/Support/BugToolKit/search/getBugDetails.do?method=fetchBugDetails&bugId=CSCsv69814</a><o:p></o:p></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class=MsoNormal>Any idea on how I can get this fixed without downgrading
firmware? When will firmware 8-4-5 be available - or is there an ES that
actually does have the fix for it? <o:p></o:p></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class=MsoNormal>Thanks in advance<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p>
