I am in the process of porting over an existing ATA 186 (SCCP) from CM 4.1(3) to UCM 7.0(2). I updated the VLAN for the port, the ATA 186 gets an IP address and the correct TFTP servers, however it still registers with the old CM 4.1(3) unless I hardcode the CallManager options via the web interface. I have tried performing a factory reset but still, no dice. It acts as if it’s not getting a TFTP configuration.

Has anyone seen this issue before? I never had any problems in the CM 4.1(3) environment adding and removing ATA’s. Is there something special I have to do in the UCM 7.0 environment? I read somewhere about an ataconfig file that needs to be placed in the TFTP directory but I wasn’t sure if this applie (I never did this under CM 4.1(3)).
Thanks,
