You could use SQL queries from the server cli. something like the following would move all of the DNs in your staging partition to the production partition.<br><br>run sql update dnorparttern set fkpartition = ( select pkid from partition where name = 'Production PT') where fkpartition = (select pkid from partition where name = 'Staging PT')<br>
<br>This is off the top of my head so the syntax might not be 100% Search CCO for the CallManager data dictionary for complete details on the db structure. <br><br>Another option might be to delete the gateways and reimport them using a different partition in the template when you are ready to go live. this would only work if you cut each gateway as a whole since you cannot import partial VGs.<br>
<br>Otherwise I think your only option is to limber up your mouse clicking finger and do them one by one. <br><br><div class="gmail_quote">On Mon, Mar 30, 2009 at 7:36 AM, Webber, Bill <span dir="ltr"><<a href="mailto:Bill.Webber@tri-c.edu">Bill.Webber@tri-c.edu</a>></span> wrote:<br>

<p style="margin-bottom: 12pt;"><font face="Times New Roman" size="3"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">For SCCP VG224 ports the
Domain Name field should be the gateway name (SKIGW+last 10 of MAC). <br>
<br>
Be aware that there are some bugs in CM 6.1 concerning BAT and VG224's.
For one, if you have shared lines on any VG ports, the subsequent ports with
the same DN will import but the DN will not be assigned to the line. This
will log an error in the BAT log saying something like 'iscallable flag cannot
be set' <br>
<br>
I recommend importing into a temporary partition as stated below. For
SCCP VG ports, when the time comes to put them into production you can use BAT
(add/update lines) to move the DNs to your production partition. This
won't work for MGCP ports however.<br>

I'm not sure what the domain name field is for. That might be for MGCP
registration which needs hostname + domain name matching in order to register.
SCCP doesn't need that.<br>
<br>
You can forward the extension to the Nortel, if your route patterns and
gateways are setup properly. This allows a user to unforward their phone.<br>
<br>
However, consider bulk loading in a temporary partition, then moving them to a
dialable partition.</span></font></p>

<p><font color="navy" face="Arial" size="2"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Arial; color: navy;">Thanks. I’m new to this so I’m not sure where to find
the Domain Name to copy into the Domain Name field. Also we since we’re
moving from Nortel to Cisco we need to make sure the phone numbers still ring
on Nortel phones until we cut over so we use #xxxx (4 digit phone extension)
for call forward all. Is it possible to do this using the bat file or do
we need to manually change each port or???</span></font></p>
