you must include cdr when perfoming backup. this allows sql to shrink
the transaction log. <br>
<br>
it is the same issue as<br>
CSCea55522 art_log.ldf file grows very large, CAR records may stop
purging <br>
<br>
only against the cdr database instead of art database.<br>
<br>
take a backup of cdr database. log file should shrink. if not, there
are manual steps to shrink it.<br>

Hello Group<br>

We run a CallManager Cluster 4.2(3).<br>
Now I discovered that the CDR transaction log file on the publisher
became huge (C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL
Server\MSSQL\Data\CDR_log.LDF (32GB)) Right now it is 32 Gb.<br>

How can I shrink this file or at least stop it to grow.<br>
<br>
Is this BARS related. I run a backup all night, however I have the
CDR option not checked. So the backupfile has a not so big size.<br>
<br>
