<DIV>Oh... it is a long and ugly story. We made the decision a while back to set the speed and duplex settings to 100/Full from the phone to our desktop PCs. We are deploying a lot of laptops these days that work best set for auto/auto. We would like to standardize using auto/auto for all of our machines. Our PC people can push a change to reconfigure the PC NICs remotely so we are hoping to do the same with the phone settings.</DIV>

If anything goes wrong the device will be stuck at speed/duplex mismatch. I know you could use a product such as Clarus to hit each phone on an individual basis but we would be looking to change the settings of a lot of phones scattered across the northeast and that method would take forever and we also do not want to go have to go each location and change each phone manually.
