We do the same thing at several of our smaller locations. Since they are
in the same local calling area as one of the larger locations in that same
area, we just have the smaller location generate dialtone off the PRI at the
larger location. However, we have to make certain if they dial 911 that
they get a local dispatch center. Below is a copy of the router configuration
for that portion of the setup as well as some screen snapshots of the setup in
Call Manager. I usually use my cell phone number to test all of this and
then change things in the Route Pattern Configuration and on the router dial
peer back to the 911 setup once I know it works. We also use these lines
for their fax line so that’s why the ring number is set to 10 on the
voice port. Also, I configure two (2) gateways for each of these outlying
locations. One with the loopback ethernet address for everything else and
one with the main ethernet address for the 911 access. Hope some of this

What else have you tried? Are you sure the port is properly registered<br>
to CCM? If you're only using it for 911 why would you set the dial-peer<br>
up to dial anything under the sun? Use destination-pattern 911 or 9911.<br>
If the port is registered, are you sure you put it in the correct CSS?<br>
