the licensing group has been pretty good lately to work with. I would just email them (licensing@cisco.com) and explain your issue and provide them with the MAC address of your 6.1 publisher.

They should be able to reissue the licenses since the MAC address isn't changing and they will have this information in their systems.

Justin

On Wed, May 27, 2009 at 11:19 AM, Moataz Mamdouh <moataz_mmdh@yahoo.com> wrote:
Dear All
we need to reinstall call manager 6.1 from scratch because we are facing a Linux OS File system problem ( due to Power Failure )

the problem is that we have already use the Lic_upgrade file issued after completing the upgrade from 4.2 to 6.1 to get the license files from www.cisco.com/go/license and we want to reinstall the server again using the OLD DMA obtained from 4.2 ( as we don't have any backup from the servers) .

can we do this ? , can we register the lic_upgrade file on cisco again using the same MAC addess ?

any ideas regrading this case?
Thanks

B.R
Moataz Mamdouh
