<div>Not sure if this will be helpful or not, but here's a spreadsheet that cross references the Cisco Part Number to the OEM server model. It also includes the base OS supported on each platform. It's pretty accurate in regards to the HP platforms, but I haven't had to cross reference any IBM servers before. As has been stated, unsupported hardware components in the OEM server may cause issues not addressed by the spreadsheet...</div>

The I1 just indicates number of processors, amount of memory, amount of disk, etc. The listing in the sheet will give you the part numbers, that has to match EXACTLY.<br>
