When you install new RTMT version it writes them to the same Start Menu folder

Cisco >CallManager Serviceability

It then tags the RTMT version into the shortcut name.

RTMT Version 7.1 is used for connecting to CUCM 6.X
RTMT Version 8.1 is used for connecting to CUCM 7.X

(yeah, that makes perfect sense to me too ;)

I just went in after they were installed and changed the Start Menu shortcut name to include the CUCM version as well.
compatible or independent versions required?

Hi Guys,

Havent looked at this for a while.
The old
approach used to be install a version of each RTMT console in a different
directory.
This worked for me with CCM 4.2 and 2 x CCM 6.x CCM's on 1
management PC.
I think I also had CUC RTMT installed as well.

RTMT
seemed to be very sensitive to even minor changes.

I think it mentions
this in the Serviceability guide under
RTMT.

Cheers,

Tim.
