Thanks for your help guys, I confirmed today when I actually run through the scripts my reads and writes are working, MY problem was, as Ahbay and Jason mentioned, I was assuming the "test" button would actually commit the change. All Is good now thanks<br>

checks how many rows will get affected and then it rolls back. To commit to the
database run the script with the insert command written under the SQL tab
