A DNS name is there somewhere.<br>
the config file is a good place to look. use windows command line TFTP
client to download phone config file (SEP<mac>.cnf.xml) and
review.<br>
<br>
after that get a packet capture showing the DNS attempt:<br>
1. make sure phone is configured with DNS server<br>
2. start packet capture from span port or back of phone<br>
3. reset phone<br>
4. once phone back up press services button<br>
5. stop packet capture and look for DNS queries.<br>

click on Service or want to look at the directory. I have removed DNS
so the CUCM is using IP address as the name also I have changed the
enterprise setting to use IP address as well so all URL are configured
as IP, the phones also have the URL as the IP address check I check on
the phone. I have have removed any domain name from the DHCP. But I am
still getting Host not found cant think what the problem could I am
sure it must be a simple fix. <br>
