<p class=MsoNormal>Now that I have upgraded to CUCM 7.1.2, I am having to find
new ways to do old tasks.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class=MsoNormal>The first of which is user management.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class=MsoNormal>Adding a user with CCM 4.1.3 with AD Integration: <o:p></o:p></p>
<p class=MsoNormal>We used to be able to create a Subscriber using Unity, which
would create the AD user. We could find the user in Global
Directory and edit their telephone number for the Corporate Directory. <o:p></o:p></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class=MsoNormal>Deleting a user with CCM 4.1.3 with AD Integration:<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class=MsoNormal>We used to be able to delete a Subscriber using Unity, then
go into Global Directory and delete the user which would delete the user in AD.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class=MsoNormal>Now with CUCM 7.1.2 with LDAP Sync:<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class=MsoNormal>It looks like we need to grant some type of AD domain admin
rights to people that didn’t have them before in order to give them
access to the AD Users and Computers plugin to perform these same tasks. <o:p></o:p></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class=MsoNormal>Am I missing something? <o:p></o:p></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class=MsoNormal>Thanks,<o:p></o:p></p>
