we upload all CDRs to our SFTP server (linux) and run it through a process every minute to send an email out that includes the extension calling / data time / and duration. works well, but it's after the fact, not real time.

we configured our 911 route pattern to not be urgent, then added a 911[0-9] route pattern that is denied. this gives them 10 or so seconds to hang up, but also adds a delay. this also prevents
1010 dialing which as a nice side-affect. ;)

9.911 calls go out as normal.

CDRs will tell you when a 911 call was placed but only after they have hung up and the call is completed.

you will need a third party app to trigger when 911 calls have been placed. we use Cistera. but they do more than just that. Radianta has a neat solution.
