Forgive the Basic question.<div><br></div><div>I'm applying some license paks to Unity Connection 7 (and Callmanager 7) for the first time. UNITYCN7-LIC-UPG and LIC-CM-DL-10</div><div><br></div><div>I register with Cisco, and get the .lic key. That part I understand.</div>
<div><br></div><div>I upload and activate the key (the process is described in the .lic key email)</div><div><br></div><div>I've been instructed by some people that Unity Connection (and callmanager for callmanager keys) needs a reboot for the Key to take affect.</div>
<div><br></div><div>I assume the warning that is on the license page for Callmanager (<font color="red">Cisco Unified Communications Manager service </font>should be
<font color="red">restarted </font>after uploading software version license file.) is what is triggering this advice. (or maybe this was true in older versions)</div><div><br></div><div>So, even though no document I can find recommends this, what does the collective say?</div>
