Hi all,

From the release notes on the cisco wiki, it appears that
you can install MeetingPlace (Enterprise) with MS SQL 2005 Standard Edition (so
long as you install the backward compatibility components).

There’s no real mention of a requirement for SQL

Can anyone please confirm the following?

1/ That MS SQL 2005 Standard is ok to use (so long as you
install the backward compatibility component)

2/ Can you use SQL Express 2005 in a LAB environment? (for
proof of concept/ pre-staging)

3/ What is a typical size of the database? I’m assuming
that only configuration data is stored in the database so it should be quite
small? (That and the fact that if you install on-box SQL it’s using MSDE
