TiM can be added to a CallManager at any stage/time. It then syncs with the CUCM which is the "master file" for any entries.

On Tue, May 4, 2010 at 1:45 PM, Paul Kruger <pauld.kruger@gmail.com> wrote:
A cluster can definitely be provisioned without VOSS, and then added into VOSS to take over the management. The problem comes in the fact that VOSS does not "learn" all the users, phones, devices, etc that exists on the CUCM. For everything you want managed via VOSS, you'll have to configure it in VOSS.
Distinct problem with VOSS is that it can't (to my knowledge) just be "plugged in" to an existing CUCM cluster. VOSS must be used to build the cluster from the ground-up, otherwise it doesn't work. It's a critical component to Cisco's HUCS platform.

Have not heard from this software or company before, found them by accident on Google. Ordered a demo, received it a couple of days later and started testing. After a while of testing I was amazed of how they have simplified managing the CUCM. Finally ordered TiM for our CallManager. To date TiM only handles Cisco's CallManager. Unity Connection is supposed to follow this year.

So far I am a happy and satisfied customer. Wondered if anybody else has gained experience with TiM and would like to share it.

Cheers, SJ
