mediacheck verifies the md5sum of the iso contents<br>

If mediacheck is throwing an error there is a problem with the media.
It may appear the install was successful but it should be considered

(ie making sure it can read from all sectors, etc). If this is the

then it is entirely possible that the date required for the install is
not on a
