Why do you loathe to change the CRSAdministrator password? That's common security practice, as this account password is the same on every install. And given that it's a local administrator, you should have changed this long ago.<div>

manually, and used this to build a DTS package so that this operation<br>
can be scheduled to run nightly. Running the package manually also<br>
works fine. The developers can hit the data warehouse server and do<br>
what they need to do just fine. At this time though, I have to<br>
manually push the data over to it every morning.<br>

I am having trouble figuring out how to get this to work as a<br>
scheduled job, as the SQL Agent service runs as the "CRSAdministrator"<br>
account, and when it runs my DTS package it tries to use this account<br>
to access the data warehouse server. Since I don't know the password<br>
for CRSAdministrator, I can't set up a duplicate account on the data<br>
warehouse for this to work. Am I missing something? I can change the<br>
account SQL Agent runs as, but this will also change the account the<br>
other CRS jobs are run as, which I'm going to assume is a big no-no.<br>

The only option I see is to use the admin tool to change the password<br>
for CRSAdministrator.. something I am loathe to do if there is any<br>
other better options. Has anyone else used an external reporting<br>
server, and if so how did you schedule nightly updates?<br>
