Lelio,<br>
<br>
I believe that detail was specific to CM's native implementation of
FAC/CMC. When going out to PSTN it is typically a matter of placing
the call with out of band digits and then providing the code via inband
digits.<br>
<br>
Enbloc dialing is faster and less susceptible to error. Digit at a
time allows problems such as:<br>
CSCso95186 Third generation phones insert digits when directory
dialing <br>
<br>
I also updated the Release-note so we can all find this faster next
time.<br>

I see that the bug says a work around is to press the speaker first,
then enter the number, which makes sense. But the firmware release
notes says CMC and FAC does not work at all. :(<br>

Is there any benefit to enbloc dialing?<br>

in CallManager v7?<br>
<br>
I believe pauses are an outstanding feature request. There have been
workarounds on H.323 gateways.<br>
<br>
For 40/60v42/62 I believe the difference is going to be enbloc
dialing. 42/62 switched to enbloc dialing where 40/60 always uses
digit-at-a-time.<br>
<br>
For some background see:<br>
