Hi
Thanks and Merry Christmas and a happy New Year!
The RMA has just been released.
Here is what i found at CUE Q&As:
HW is under the router's Smartnet, But for software support you need
a SASU (SAS or SAU)
(Below is an abstract from AIM-CUE Q&As)
Q. What services should be purchased to help ensure complete
service and support for Cisco Unity Express?
A. Hardware replacement of the NM-CUE and AIM-CUE is
covered under the existing Cisco SMARTnet®
contract for the router in which the Cisco Unity Express module is
housed. Cisco Unity Express application support from
the Cisco Technical Assistance Center (TAC) is covered
under an additional Software Application Support plus Upgrades
(SASU) contract (CON-SAU-NM-CUE or CON-SAU-AIM-CUE). SASU provides
24 hour technical assistance from the Cisco TAC by telephone and
access to Cisco.com for online tools and information plus software
updates—
maintenance plus minor and major releases for the Cisco Unity
Express software application—all for one annual fee

<span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family:

all,
i have a 2801 covered by SNT nbd (and all the modules
included in it).
So, a few years ago when the conrtact was created, i was not
able to add the
serial numbers of the vic2-4fxs, E1/T1-MFT, and an AIM-CUE.
There was always an error on cisco's SCC.
But, when the vic2-4fxs failed, i had no problem in the RMA:
i just issued the
SN if the 2801 who was covered by the contract, and i got a
replacement with no
problem.
But, yesterday, when i opened the TAC for the AIM that
Failed, when finally the
engineer created the RMA, i got a message from the logistics
department that
the serial number of the AIM is not listed anywhere,
therefore, they are not
going to replace it!!
Even now, i am trying to add its serial number to the SCC
under the 2801 but it
is not possible!!
Please, advise if anyone has something like that before.

Kind Regards
