Happens all the time on my laptop. Another app has the mic opened
thus it is unavailable for CIPC. This usually happens to me when i
undock ungracefully while listening to iTunes. Windows does not
recover on its own. iTunes even gives me an error about the audio
device. reboot restores functionality.<br>
