Thanks for the reply Jason, so it would probably be alright for the occasional on-demand recording, but if they wish to record all agent calls or a % of the calls we should look at another product.

I'm about to start looking through config guides, but can on-demand recording be initiated from both a supervisor desktop, as well as the agent desktop?

I will take a look at Zoom, we have used MiaRec in the past with good results but I'm always open to better solutions.

Thanks
-Matt

On Wed, Feb 23, 2011 at 12:31 PM, Jason Aarons (US) <jason.aarons@us.didata.com> wrote:

Hello,

I understand IPCC Express / UCCX has recording capabilities in both versions 7.x and 8.0, I'm curious if any recording can be done with just a CUCM cluster and single UCCX server (of either version) or if another recording application/server is required? I have a customer that is interested in adding both agent-initiated on-demand recording as well as supervisor and / or random % based recording. I see the option to order a Compliance Recording Server for 8.x but if any capabilities exist without adding another application and server i would prefer to stick with that.
