We have an ATA 186 out in the field (might even be a 188) that worries me for a few reasons. We don't have a spare and if I screw up the firmware update they won't have service.

I'm thinking of replacing it with a 187 but I've never had a SIP device on our voice network. I'm guessing it uses different ports for talking so some changes to the ACLs are necessary.

Anything else?

Lelio

---
Lelio Fulgenzi, B.A.
Senior Analyst (CCS) * University of Guelph * Guelph, Ontario N1G 2W1
(519) 824-4120 x56354 (519) 767-1060 FAX (JNHN)
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Cooking with unix is easy.
