Yes I think the ATA is not suited for fax. I have been tasked to use an ATA186I1-A to connect to an HP MFP 1522nf integrated fax,copy, print and scan machine. The voice gateway is connected to a GSM carrier via ISDN PRI E1. Sending fax works intermittently but receiving does not work at all. I have changed the firmware from SCCP to H323 and with that I can send fax consistently but still I am unable to receive. <br>

I have CUCM 7.1 with H323 GW .... I have ATA connected with 2 FAXes<br>

I already configured the two ATA ports took IP's and registered with CUCM with Directory Numbers : 8012, 8013<br><br>
MY LAnd Lines that will work as FAX Lines on Ports 0/1/0 and 0/1/1<br>

what is additional configuration to make these two faxes work well ... and uses the Faxes PSTN Lines ....?<br>
the ATA already registered and took DN's .... only <br>
